The Neighborhood Club sponsors the following committees, staffed by Directors and volunteers. The first name on the list is the chair the committee.

Nominations
Draws up and presents to the NCBC Board in September of each year a slate of prospective officers and directors for the following calendar year. This slate must be presented to the membership at the Annual Meeting, held in the fourth quarter of each year.

Zoning
Reviews and takes action on all zoning and Planning Commission matters affecting the Bala Cynwyd area; the perimeters include Rock Hill Road and Conshohocken State Road to the north, the Schuylkill River to the east, City Avenue to the south, and Meeting House Lane, Montgomery Avenue and Old Lancaster Road to the west.

Bala Avenue Business District
Works with merchants and agents to improve Bala Avenue and attract commerce to it; collaborates with the township on the development of the Bala Gym area.

Monitors actions and developments by St. Joseph's University (SJU) and the City Avenue Special Services District (CASSD) for their potential impact on Bala Cynwyd, and serves as a liaison between The NCBC and SJU as a means of improving communication and cooperation.

Buildings
Reports to The NCBC Board on proposed construction and land use projects of interest to the community that are not under study by other committees (such as Meeting House Lane and Old Lancaster Road); provides support to other committees, if needed, on construction-related matters within their purview.

Addresses issues that touch on historic buildings in Bala Cynwyd. Such buildings need not have "national registry" designation, but may be important to our understanding of our heritage.

Keeps Bala Cynwyd green by establishing and maintaining public gardens and recognizing private gardens planted and tended by local residents and merchants; works with the township by actively participating in such programs as Park Friends.
