On Sunday, June 15th, from 8:30 a.m. 'til 1:00 p.m., join friends and neighbors at the Cynwyd Station in a variety of fun and rewarding activities for all ages involving the Trail. More plants will be added to the substantial plantings already installed on the outbound side of the Cynwyd Station. A completely new planting bed will be dug adjoining the garden which has already won two Pennsylvania Horticultural Society awards (if you're interested, please bring a shovel if you can). Vegetation will be cleared around the Cynwyd Station, and vines will be removed from outcroppings along the Trail. Gloves and pruning shears are recommended, but not required.
And as this flyer [PDF - 3 MB] depicts, we're now intending to continue the Trail across the bridge into Manayunk.
