SEPTA (the SouthEastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) provides regular train service between Bala Cynwyd and Philadelphia on the Cynwyd R-6 regional rail line. This line runs from the Cynwyd train station, located at corner of Conshohocken State Road and Bala Avenue, to the Philadelphia 30th Street station, the Suburban Station, the Market East Station, on up to Temple University, and beyond.
